The first product will be announced later. At present, an aluminum alloy material without heat treatment has been developed to meet the new process. And the company is researching alloys containing recycled aluminum to promote sustainable development.
Volkswagen:
In May 2022, the Volkswagen Cassell die-casting plant successfully cast the rear floor of the vehicle body on a 4400 ton die-casting machine, laying the foundation for highly innovative platform components for the future SSP (Scalable System Platform) electric device platform. The R&D team successfully assembled this large casting (1.6 meters) in just 2 minutes × 1.5 meters) successfully cast with a locking force of 4400 tons. The future integrated casting replaced approximately 30 individual components, saving a total of 10 kilograms in weight. This technology is currently being tested for Volkswagen Trinity models, with SSP being used for the first time.
